    I just recently sold my home in Texas which sold in 7 days (rather quick for the market at the time).  But, I was quite lucky to get the real estate agent I did who used a LOT of the marketing techniques you have listed.  I can say that this is a great advantage, and it didn’t matter which real estate agent I picked….the fee would have been the same.  So I think in today’s market where we have so many real estate agent options, that it is definitely to their advantage to use all of the marketing practices you have listed here.  Great information!  I bought my house here from an agent (I was his first sale), so this information might be of some great use for him.  I will pass it along!

      Thanks for commenting. I wrote another post where I was making suggestions for new realtors. One of the key suggestions was to get on the internet with a great website because that’s where buyers are. Research is showing that something like 72% of all buyers are starting their search on the internet.

    Internet real estate has really helped a lot of close friends of mines, especially those moving into an entirely new environment they have never been before. At this century it will be pointless going l around looking for accommodation or using direct referrals. The way it’s being done in my home country actually differs and I hope they could adopt this as a whole.

I once sold a house when I was working in Tampa to a man working in China who was retiring and wanted to retire in Tampa. He found the house on my website where he viewed it on a video tour, we did all the documentation electronically and closed the deal and transferred the funds without a single piece of actual paper. That’s today’s electronic, digital world.

    These tips are super helpful. When it comes to real estate marketing on the Internet, what are the biggest challenges today? Keeping up with technology or keeping up with clients or both? 

    I know for some real estate agents, this can all be very overwhelming. A good website content tip is local buyer’s guides and local area maps with things to do. These can be pretty easy to make with a blog post and Google maps. Just call out a few popular places near the house or community for sale and share with your clients and email list.

      Thanks for asking. The biggest challenge is convincing realtors in the first place and educating them how to do this. That is why I’ve up this site. When I found WA I knew this was what I wanted to do. Secondly, it’s almost impossible to keep up with the technology.  You’re right, buyer’s guides with local maps are great and newcomers are hungry for data about the market and what’s going on in the local community.
